Uzm.Dr. Alpekin ŞEN
Dr. Alptekin Şen graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and completed his medical specialty training in 1992 at the Department of Pathology, Gülhane Military Medical Academy . He has conducted numerous scientific studies both in Turkey and abroad in the field of pathology , with a particular focus on gastrointestinal system pathologies and cellular diagnostic methods .
Dr. Şen has seven scientific articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. His research covers significant topics such as HPV and smear screenings , Kaposi’s sarcoma , the relationship between fundic gland polyps and Helicobacter pylori , and gastric epithelial dysplasia . He is also the author of three scientific books: Histopathological Approach to Pancreatic Cancers , Gallbladder Anomalies , and Fundamentals of Pathology , the latter of which he served as editor.
In addition to his work in pathology, Dr. Şen is also certified in complementary medicine . He successfully completed international training programs in phytotherapy and aromatherapy , and holds official certificates approved by the Turkish e-Government system documenting his expertise in this field.
